Everything you need to know about registering an account, placing orders, tracking parcels and solving common issues—compiled in one place.


1 · Why Create an Account?

  • Save time at checkout—your billing & shipping details are stored securely.

  • View all orders in one dashboard, including downloadable invoices.

  • Manage wish‑lists and back‑in‑stock alerts.

  • Track returns and warranties without searching emails.

An account is optional—you can check out as a guest—but we highly recommend it.


2 · Registering & Logging In

  1. Click the Account icon (top‑right).

  2. Select Create Account and fill in your name, email and a strong password.

  3. Confirm the activation email.

Forgot your password? Use Forgot password on the login page and follow the reset link (valid for 60 minutes).


3 · Managing Your Account

  • Address Book – add multiple delivery addresses; set one as default.

  • Personal Data – update email, phone or password anytime.

  • Newsletter – manage marketing preferences.

  • Privacy: We store personal data in accordance with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Your ID copies (required for replica sales—see § 5) are auto‑deleted after verification.


4 · Placing an Order

  1. Add products to cart; live stock status appears under the Add to cart button.

  2. Cart – adjust quantities, enter discount codes, estimate shipping.

  3. Checkout – three‑step secure flow:

    1. Customer Details (or quick login).

    2. Shipping – choose service level; same‑day dispatch on payments before 12:00 CET.

    3. Payment – we accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Klarna Pay Later, Bancontact, Sofort, and more.

  4. Order Confirmation – you receive a numbered confirmation email within minutes; check spam/junk if missing.

4.1 · Pre‑Orders & Back‑Orders

The expected ship date is shown on the product page. Mixed carts wait until all items are in stock unless you select Split Shipping at checkout.


5 · ID Verification for Airsoft Replicas

Dutch law requires age verification before we can ship any replica. Upload a clear photo of your government ID and (if applicable) NABV licence during checkout. The copy is deleted automatically once approved. Replicas are dispatched only to the name on the order; alternate recipient names are not possible.


6 · Order Status & Tracking

Shipped Handed to carrier Tracking email sent automatically

Where to find tracking: in the dispatch email or in My Account → Orders. Always check spam before contacting support.


7 · Changing or Cancelling an Order

Before shipping – email orders@skirmshop.nl with your order number; we can add/remove items or cancel and refund on the same day.

After shipping – modifications are no longer possible. If the address is wrong, the parcel must first be returned to us; reshipping costs apply.

Pre‑orders and special‑order items may incur a 10 % cancellation fee once placed.


8 · International Orders & VAT

  • EU Customers – pay your local VAT rate at checkout; no extra charges on delivery.

  • Non‑EU Customers – Dutch VAT (21 %) is removed; you are responsible for import duties and taxes. Unclear about legality? Check before ordering—we cannot refund goods confiscated by customs.


9 · Frequently Encountered Issues

Issue Solution
Tracking shows Delivered but no parcel Contact us within 7 days; we will raise an investigation with the carrier.
Package delivered to wrong address Wait for carrier return then pay reship fee.
Missing / damaged items Email photos + order number; we respond within 48 h.
Cannot add items to shipped order Not possible once dispatched.
